TECHNOLOGICAL EQUIPMENT
Melting shop
The melting shop is equipped with two cold-wind cupola furnaces with a forehearth, two electric arc furnaces enabling metal refining and medium-frequency induction furnaces. We are also equipped with a channel holding furnace for a continuous supply of liquid metal.
Name | Capacity |
---|---|
2x cupola furnace | 7,5 t/hour |
2x electric induction furnace | 4 t |
2x electric arc furnace | 6 t |
2x holding furnace | 6 t |
Moulding shop
On our semi-automatic lines we are able to cast a wide range of castings with precision CT10 according to ISO 8062 in series from 100 pcs / year. At present, there are three production lines operating using the shaking and additional pressing process. On a light moulding line, we are able to produce a range of grey cast iron from 2 to 40 kg and a range of ductile iron from 2 to 30 kg. Castings of grey cast iron, ductile iron and carbon steel are cast on the L1 line. The heavy moulding line is designed for production of grey iron castings in the weight category of 40-400 kg and ductile iron in the range of 100-200 kg.
grey cast iron | ductile cast iron | carbon steel | |
---|---|---|---|
Weight category | 2 - 400 kg | 2 - 200 kg | 15 - 120 kg |
Production capacity | 18.000 t/year | 6.000 t/year | 4.000 t/year |
Core shop
During production process the core mixture is injected into the core box or it is filled manually. We use cold and hot process. The hot process is HOT-BOX or Croning. In both cases the hardening process is achieved by heat supplied to the core box by burners or electric heating. The cold process uses COLD-BOX (Amin) or CO2 Resol. Hardening occurs by blowing the core with a catalyst. Thanks to the cores, we are able to produce very complex shapes of castings.
Name | Capacity |
---|---|
Hot-Box | max. 53 l |
Cold-Box | max. 30 l |
CO2-Resol | max. 36 l |
Croning | max. 36 l |
Fettling shop
For fettling of castings, we have chamber blasters, continuous blasters and drum blasters. At fettling shop, even very complex steel castings are finished. The finishing operations also include scraping off by flame and welding. To ensure the required mechanical properties, we are equipped with continuous annealing furnaces, where we perform normalization annealing with tempering.
Paint shop
The paint shop workplace is equipped with two paint lines using water-soluble ecological paint, which is suitable as a primer. Depending on the weight of the castings, painting is performed in dipping baskets or by direct hanging in the dipping bath.
